Huston's attorney asks to delay trial two months
The attorney representing a former Franklin County Administrator accused of stealing $1.7 million asks to delay the trial today.
Dennis Huston is charged with first degree theft, money laundering and possession of cocaine.
His trial is scheduled to start in January, but Huston's attorney asked for the trial to be pushed back to March.
The judge did not make a ruling today, because a new judge is being assigned to the case.
The judge is also reviewing a private investigation into the county's accounting practices and employee procedures to decide if it can be revealed to attorneys.
