Year-round schooling no longer an option in Pasco
Pasco School District administrators say they are no longer considering multi-track, year-round schooling as an option to alleviate student overcrowding, after residents appear to have passed a bond to build new schools.
Pasco's $46.8 million bond is passing 61.72% to 38.28%.
The bond would build three new elementary schools.
As of tonight, election officials have 127 ballots left to count.
Even if all those voters rejected the bond, it wouldn't be enough to change the outcome.
The official results will be certified in about a week and a half.
