RICHLAND -- Operation cash for candy wraps up this week.
At Doctor Lee Ostler's dentist office in Richland, an estimated 400 pounds of Halloween sweets have been dropped off.
It's a way to fight the war on cavities.
The candy will be sent to our men and women fighting for our country in the armed forces.
"They'll also use the candy to work the locals they call it and that is to get information to befriend the local villagers and find out where all the dangerous things are that would hurt and harm our freedom" said Ostler.
Olsten said some people took advantage of the $1 per pound exchange, while others just wanted to pass on the leftover candy.
